Road Trip

Rendy and I took a road trip to Indy after church on Sunday. We drove 208 miles to pick Lucy up from blackrocklabs.com Hopefully she came home with puppies in her belly.
If all goes as planned we should have puppies in early April. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because this is our third and final attempt.

On the way home from Indianapolis we stopped off at my parents in Illinois and stayed overnight. We had so much fun. We sat up with mom and dad until midnight talking and eating crock pot chicken and zucchini cake. It was delicious! Morning came all too soon and we were up again enjoying more of the zucchini cake, coffee and table talk. I don't think we ever left the kitchen. As a matter of fact, we didn't!

It's good to be back home. I hated leaving Sammy and Daddy alone for the night. As it turns out I don't think I was missed much. They did a little male bonding over some spicy chicken and the super bowl game. YAY COLTS!!!! Sammy kept my side of the bed warm and had a gift waiting for me when I returned. Maybe he did miss me a little.

It is too early to tell about Lucy's and her puppy situation. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I can report morning sickness.
