HONG KONG

It looks like we are taking a little spring break trip to Hong Kong, AKA Marshall, IL. My hometown and the place where my parents reside. It's so funny how we arrived at the name Hong Kong. My friends little girl,Claira, was overheard telling her friends that she visited MiMi and Papa (my parents) in Hong Kong. The Name has stuck and we will continue to say this forever.

Sam, Riley and Claira came prepared for playing outside in the creek and that is exactly what they did. We all got a little muddy...but Oh what fun we had!
I am hoping for nice weather so they can have a cookout and sleep in the tent that I am going to sneak into my "things to take" to Hong Kong. They will be so surprised.

Other things to take to Hong Kong.....Friends. My friend Joan from Owensville, MO is going to drive down for the weekend as well. She's my camping buddy from way back in the day when we were both camp directors in Eastern, KY. She is a forever friend who I have kept close with for almost 10 years despite the distance in miles between us. Hey Joan...if you are reading this remember to bring your air mattress.

It's getting time for Riley and I to head off to the Y. I teach an 8:30 cycling class today. I love it!
