Minnesota here we come

We left Henderson this morning at 7:30 a.m. I never thought this day would come. We found out that we were moving about 9 weeks ago. I've been saying good bye to friends for a long time now and here I am in a hotel in Madison, WI.

Rendy drove up with us today. I am so thankful that she was able to get away from work and her family. It has made the drive so much easier having her to help with the boys and the dog, not to mention how much fun she is to have around. Between her gossip magazines and her driving through a toll booth without paying it's been an uneventful trip. This is good because we are both geographically challenged.

The boys are enjoying the hotel. So is the dog. We just came in from the pool and are winding down. Sam and Riley can not wait to see daddy....neither can I. It's been almost 3 weeks. Way Too Long!

So.....tomorrow we will finish up our 4 hour journey and reach our destination of Apple Valley, MN no later than 3 p.m. We are closing on the house at this time. I hope to get in a little fun time with the family before the furniture arrives and we have to work. I think a trip to the MOA is in store and hopefully dinner at Cafe Brenda's. They serve all natural and organic meals. The atmosphere is really neat too.

Off to bed. It's 10:20.
