This is my man Pete. Check out the presence of hair. Pete's many hair styles have been a lot of fun since he has taken off time from doing triathlons. In Minnesota you need hair on your noodle to keep warm.

Christmas Eve Tradition... Making an old Swedish dish of Krocks. This is not the first year for Sam and Riley to have Krocks, but it was there first time with helping make them. As you can see they are somewhat messy, but oh so worth the effort.
Sam looks a little disgusted with getting messy.

Riley had no problem. It's almost like playing in play dough. Sam actually enjoyed eating them this time. I'm sure Riley will come around. He liked them better the following morning after we fried them and he soaked them with ketchup.

Christmas morning Sam woke us 6:30 to open gifts. We had to wake Riley. The boys were more low key this year and we actually took turns opening gifts.
Riley was so excited that Sam got Lego's.

He was equally excited when he got his own. You can't tell by looking at him, but he is. We had the boys at the late service last night and didn't get home until 10:30ish. I think he is still tired.

This has been a great year for the Hagen's. We have had a lot of ups and downs, but in the big scheme of things everything has turned out for the best.
We wish everyone a very Blessed New Year to come.

Looks like you guys had a fun Christmas!

I remember chasing the kiddos around while you and Pete decorated the tree, listening to the Ally McBeal Christmas CD, and all the yummy treats in your kitchen around Christmas time. I sure do miss you guys!!

Happy New Year!
