Ok...so it's Saturday night, 9:16 and Pete and I are in bed watching survivor man. He's in the Amazon Jungle and totally crazy in my mind. We usually watch Man vs Wild, but after last nights episode when Bear Grills ate an eyeball from a dead sheep it literally made our stomachs churn.

Speaking of churn....Pete and I have some sort of stomach bug. Our stomachs have been churning all day. We woke up wondering if we got some kind of food poisoning from Fudruckers last night. Riley and Sam are fine so we had to rule that out. Anyway...long story short we had a very bland lunch and a bland dinner of soup and rice.

As for survivor man, he's on his third day without food. Again.....he's just crazy. I'd have to eat my arm. I've actually thought about what I would do if I had to survive in the wilderness with the boys. I think of these crazy scenarios and have to tell myself to stop before I have a panic attack. I had some of the same feelings every time I crossed over the twin bridges in Henderson. The same in Mn , If you remember a bridge collapsed last summer and several people lost their lives.

So, changing the subject we went to the Dakota County Library today. We needed to get the boys library cards. Sam needed to meet cub scout achievement six and he did. Sam will get an achievement arrow as soon as he gets a few of these requirements completed. Oh, I forgot to mention that Pete is officially a trained cub scout leader. Yay!!!! He and Sam are really enjoying scouting together. Riley will get to join Tiger scouts next year and I plan to be his leader. Scouting is something we can do together as a family for many years.

Survivor man is now fishing . I thought he was going to eat a butterfly, but instead used it as bait. No luck, so he's heading back to his camp. Hopefully he will put his pants back on. He's no Bear Grills.

Thankfully Pete and I don't have toe fungus from walking in the Amazon River or the runs from drinking the water. Hopefully we will feel up to par tomorrow. We have church services at 8:30
and afterwards at 10:30 cycling 60 . I have a group of cyclist that expect an energized tough hour of intervals.

My prayer tonight is to get through it without having to outrun a panther, without getting toe fungus and for our tummy's to feel better.

G'night!

Les (aka Survivorman) & me are like 2 peas in a pod!

Actually, what would be interesting would be to put me in a situation like Les. That would be a show. Of course, they'd have to figure out what to do with the other 40 minutes of the show...after I passed out in the first 10 minutes...from not eating for 5 hours. They could call it "Starvin'man".
