Today isFunday Monday, June 16th. The first official week of school being "OUT".
So...here's my plans for today.
8 a.m. Parker and Spencer are coming over for a play date
10:30 Body Pump
12 lunch
1:00/1:15 Kung Fu Panda with the ever so favorite Jack Black.
On a side not..I am watching the today show about Tim Russert. It is amazing how much the death of this man has touched so many people. Mr. Russert was like the Martha Stewart of the Press. Very well known and very much liked. Ok...so maybe not so much like Martha. I love her...but that's me.
My heart goes out to his family and friends.
Anyway...just some random thoughts for the day.

Tim Russert was an awesome interviewer + so much more, and only 58 yrs old, so tragic. He has clearly left an amazing legacy.

i didn't see the today show this morning, but one of my favorite things about tim russert was his devotion to his family and his deep love for his father.
i am a total cnn girl and would have never known anything about him if not for his interview with larry king several years ago after writing a book about his dad and how he embraced the man he was. i was a fan from that point.
when charles gibson broke into programming friday afternoon, i knew he was going to report something sad (there is a certain intro they use for such matters). my first thought was ted kennedy. i was totally shocked and sickened to see that it was russert (so sad)...
